 In the Group we currently have:

·         2 Beaver Colonies for boys and girls aged 6 – 8 ,

·         2 Cub Packs for boys & girls aged between 8 and 10 ½  

·         2 Scout Troops for Young People aged 10 ½ to 14 and

·         an Explorer Unit partnered with the Group for Young People aged 14 to 18.   

All of these sections meet in the Scout Hall. Further information about the sections is available by clicking on the links above.

Our young people enjoy a varied balanced programme in all Sections with opportunities to take part in various activities indoor and out, outings and skill building, working towards gaining awards and badges. 

·     Beavers can earn the Chief Scout's Bronze Award,

·     Cubs the Chief Scout's Silver Award,

·     Scouts the Chief Scout's Gold Award,

·     Explorers the Chief Scout's Platinum Award.

Also, for older members the opportunity is available to work towards the Duke of Edinburgh Award and possibly even earn the Queen’s Scout Award, the highest level of award which can be earned by any youngster in Scouting.
