"Scott Murray, a P5 pupil at New Lanark Primary Showed initiative and imagination way beyond his years by turning his school's St Andrew's Day celebrations to a very worthy and apt cause." according to the Lanark Gazette.

Scott, a Sixer in the Cubs organised a One School, Many Uniforms day with fellow pupils all paying £1 towards St. Andrew's Hospice to come to school not in their usual uniforms but in the uniform of whatever group or organisation they belonged to outside of school.

The result was over £60 raised for the hospice.  Scot is pictured handing over the money to Rosaline McKenna, one of the hospice's fundraising organisers.
