In the Explorers we complete the Chief Scout's Platinum, Diamond and Queen's Scout Awards as well as the Duke of Edinburgh's Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards.

This means we spend a reasonable amount of time undertaking expeditions in wild terrain.  To supplement the training provided on Explorer evenings and at training weekends the unit has produced five documents to help Explorers prepare. As well as kit lists and what to wear info we have produced handy guides on Boots, Rucksacks and Sleeping Bags.
